Preparing for Your Interview

• Multiple copies of your resume
• Original documents of credentials (professional license/registry, education documentation, BLS/ACLS, any other applicable certifications)
• Reference list (please include name, organization, title, contact number(s) and email address)

Make yourself a more prepared and attractive applicant by following these helpful tips:

• Dress for success. No matter what department or what position you are interviewing for, be sure to look clean and professional to provide a good first impression
• Practice your interview techniques (even out loud or with a friend!). You should be calm and focused during your interview, prepared to listen, as well as ready to answer questions regarding your past experience and ask questions regarding the new position
• Arrive on time, or better yet, a few minutes early
• Do not bring anything that will be a distraction
• Write a professional “Thank You” letter or email following the interview
